News About New Towns for the General Audience
Town Paper publisher Diane Dorney is the editor and co-owner (through Courier Communications) of the The Town Courier. The Courier is published in several regional editions serving Kentlands, Lakelands, Quince Orchard Park and Lakelands Ridge in Gaithersburg, Md; King Farm and Fallsgrove in Rockville Md.; Urbana, Md.; and Villages of Urbana and Urbana Highlands in Montgomery County, Md. The Town Courier is published monthly and has a circulation of 18,000.

Published from 1999-2004 as The Town Paper and from 2004-2008 as New Towns, this newspaper-format publication carried news and features about traditional neighborhood development. Some of the popular features included "Home Town" profiles of new neighborhoods, people who are "Making a Difference," architectural "Details" and perspectives on town design. Over its publishing run, New Towns had a circulation of 8,000 and reached a nationwide audience of current and prospective TND residents. The paper was also read by a specialized audience of architects, developers, public officials and local activists.
